A little something I’m working on…

Liberation of consciousness is a process facilitated by proper aspiration.  It is our commitment to meditation practice and daily actions devoted to God that affirms our intention to grow spiritually and allow complete liberation of consciousness to occur in this lifetime.  Complete dedication also requires properly directed aspiration, which includes the use of intention, imagination and faith to quicken the process.

We can be completely dedicated to the goal of spiritual liberation in this lifetime, but if we are forceful or impatient it is possible to slow down process.  To make the most of our spiritual work we do not need to strain to accomplish our goal, we only need to intend what we desire.  Calm intention carries more power than restless striving.

Once we are clear on our intent to be totally spiritually awake, we can imagine what it feels like to experience that state of consciousness.  In meditation practice, we can first use a technique to clear the mind and settle the emotions, and having set our intention before beginning to be completely spiritually awake, we can now imagine what it would feel like to be completely spiritually awake.

At the core of our being we are already flawlessly spiritually enlightened.  In this process we are changing our point of view from the delusion that we are not spiritually awake, to the truth of our being that is completely spiritually awake.  It is only a matter of conditioning that causes us to think we are not already enlightened.

When our intention is set and our imagination is engaged in experiencing what complete liberation of consciousness feels like, we can now accept that this our natural state, always.  Living from the understanding that we are enlightened harmonizes our thoughts, words and actions to reflect the experience in reality.

(It needs revision and some reworking.)
